When Should a Lesion Be Checked?
Consider an assessment if a lesion:
- Is new or changing
- Looks different from your other spots
- Has changed in size, shape or colour
- Is persistently scaly, irritated or uncomfortable
- Repeatedly catches on clothing or jewellery
- Is causing cosmetic concern
- Does not heal as expected
A clinical assessment is important before deciding whether and how a lesion should be removed.

Assessment in person is the only way to work out what is causing a skin concern and what can reasonably be done about it. Fees are explained before anything is arranged.
