A Consultation-First Approach
Every treatment begins with assessment.
Dr Ben’s approach is to understand the patient’s concerns, medical history and treatment goals before recommending a procedure. Where appropriate, this may include:
- Clinical examination
- Facial assessment
- Skin assessment
- Dermoscopy
- Trichoscopy
- Ultrasound assessment
- Medical investigations
- Discussion of treatment options, risks and alternatives
Not every consultation results in a procedure, and referral or further investigation may sometimes be the most appropriate next step.
